Psychological Injury
I remember as a child waking up one morning and going to the kitchen where the refrigerator and cabinets was bare. That moment was a degrading and shameful feeling that resulted in me feeling helpless. My poverty mentality had convinced me that I was okay with where I was at. However, deep down in my bones I knew I was called to move from where I was, but I was afraid and not willing to take one step forward… In other words.. A poverty mentality will cause you to run away from your hopes and desires.
